Thoughts On A 4610

What's the general consensus of a 4610? I
brought this one home last week, so far
I'm in love. Shuttle shift and 4wd, 2
remotes, starts runs and works perfect.
Excited to hay with it!

check and service all your 4wd on the front axle to make sure they still have fluids!!! Otherwise a great mutt... I call them mutts because the are too big to be small and too small to be big. So they are a great inbetween tractor for chores around the farm. The big boys stay parked most of the time when you have one of these around. Handy as a pocket on a shirt, easy to get on and off for fencing, feeding bales, moving trailers and equipment. Put a boom pole on the rear and raise rafters and unload barrels. Curious if its not a II series or after 1986.

4600 and 4610 are some of the best Ford ever did in my opinion

A Blue stripe will be an 1981-mid 1985 build

We have an '81 we bought in '99 with 1200 hours on it. It was used as a gang mower tractor on an estate. It's a 2wd and like Bern says, it's bullet proof.

Yes I need to check out the front axle, I've got an owner operator manual, I'll check them over. What should I run for oil, 80-90 gear oil?

The dealer I bought it from told me it's a 1986, but I haven't confirmed that!
