Thoughts on a John Deere 2150

Anyone out there own a JD 2150? Looking to get some thought's on this tractor. I have one with the collar shift trans with reverser (38 drawbar and 45 PTO HP). I am looking to start a little hobby farm around 40 acres in SW Wisconsin. Looking to use mainly 3 point equipment. How big of a plow and disk should I be able to pull? My intentions are to raise corn, oats and hay. Any thoughts will be gladly taken. Thanks in advance Jim

I"ve had no problems with mine in 8 years. I understand the dry clutch on the utility tractors can be an issue if abused. Tillage capacity will vary a lot depending on soil type, moisture content, depth and ground speed. In the MO ozarks 2X16 or 3x14 for a plow and maybe 8" disk would be a decent match with proper ballast.
