Three Point on John Deere 790

I took the flail mower off my neighbor's JD 790. Sharpened all the flails and am replacing it on the tractor. I see that the JD three point seems to be set up so that the lower arms push out, against the implement capture pins, to set the centering.

My Kubota and several other tractors I have worked on or run all pulled the lower three point arms in, against the implement attachment brackets for left / right positioning.

Is the arrangement on this JD 790 correct? Common?
