Throttle Adjustment

Suddenly there seems to be no friction on my throttle. When I am mowing it keeps backing down. How do I adjust it?

Assuming this is a 2210 your throttle handle makes a 90 degree bend, turns and goes through linkage. There is a friction washer on that shaft that is adjusted by double nuts on the very end of the throttle shaft. Make sense?

Correct. You can use the Search box to find my coverage of this in the archives I think a couple of summers back. (When the disk glazes, it's simple to tighten or inexpensive to replace it but finding and accessing it is another matter.)
