Throttle arm/spring

I have 335 Minneapolis Moline. When I pull the throttle it will not stay down. I have to hold it all the time. Does anyone have an easy fix for this problem or does anyone know how to get throttle arm off easy? There is a spring under the dash on the throttle arm.
Any help will be appreciated.
