Timing a 37 WC

I want to check the magneto timing with a timing light on a 37 WC and am not sure which cover to take off. I notice a cover with 2 wing bolts on top of the bell housing and need to know if this is the cover I need to take off. There are 2 marks on the flywheel, which one is the correct mark when using a timing light with the engine running?
