tire chains

mine were from tirechains.com

duo-link $253 + $64 shipping -- I got the tensioners + the tool ($50 for all) to help with the tensioners too but you may not feel you need them.

I see today the same chains are $263

They have cheaper models though -- some are under $200

very quick shipping....

(quoted from post at 12:39:05 12/09/10) quick question - who has the least expensive tire chains?
et some of that white stuff ED...Cant help with the chains. Don't need them in Texas :D

You might be able to get'em for free...

Go to your local/county highway maintenance shed. If you already know someone there, so much the better. Ask if they have any old truck chains that they are discarding. I'm talking about tandem trucks here. They have to replace them every so often to stay in compliance with state regs. I got a set of two for free from my county. The almost fit perfectly, and still had a lot of life left in them.

Just a thought...
