Tire cutting

looking into cutting a set of tires for myself, how much for the height of bar should a guy leave.

It really depends alot on the type of track you are pulling on ( clay , sand etc ) and what type of pulling you are doing. Im going to assume you are pulling 3.5 - 5 mph classes. I believe the wheight of the tractor and the size of the tire makes a difference as well but with all things NOT considered I wouldnt be afraid to start with 3/4 to 7/8 of an inch and trim them down from there if need be. Remember you can always take more off but you cant put it back .

Most tire cutters will tell you that anything over 5/8th will bend back on you on good tracks and more than that will ball up on a loose track or sandy track
