Tire Ply for UTV?

I have to replace the tires on my Kubota 1120 UTV. Is 6 ply enough? I do not use it hard, but do go on steep inclines and in the woods, plus some road use.

What is the ply rating of the tires on it? Why not get the same?

Fair question. I see options for 8 or 10 ply tires - I assume mine are OEM and probably 4 or 6 ply.

If I was satisfied with the tires on it now, I would look at the same, unless more plies tires were a better price.

My 2006 Rhino has 6 plies on it. They were put on by the original owner. Never had any punctures or leaks.

Kenda Bearclaw HTR tires are hard to beat. They are an 8 ply radial. They ride smooth and get great traction on about any terrain and seem to last forever. On our 4 wheelers we can get 8 to 10k miles out of a set with a lot of black top riding. They are a true size tire. Meaning unlike a lot of cheaper ATV/UTV tires. A 25-10-12 is actually a 25-10-12.
