anyone know of a chart that compares the old tire sizes too the new like 13-38 to a 14.9-38? alot of 18.4 38's say 15-38. i need a chart i can print out do too rule changes. Thank You

I think what you are reading on the side of the tire might mean that the tire is measured as an 18.4x38 on a 15x38 rim.

Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong. Hope this helps.

no because also says on 16" rims. the old tire use to say 10-38 11-38 etc i need a chart that compares the old sizes too the newer numbers like 11.2-38 12.4-38 etc.

Tire manufacturers updated the tire measurements in the late 50's. The tire was the same, the difference was where they measured from. That being said, the 18.4x38 was not produced until 1964 or 1965 so there would not be that size tire around with the old numbering system. There were 15-34(18.4x34) tires made, but no 18.4x38s.
