I'm looking into buying a set of 8-32 wheels for my Oliver 60. Tractor data says 9.5-32. what size would that be these days and how wide can I go on a 8 inch rims. Thank you, Paul

9.5x32 is about all you will find. It is a replacement for then original 9x32 tire. There aren't any options for the 32" rim, unless you are looking at something ridiculously wide. Not many tractors made using 32" rims, mostly early Ford 9N, Oliver 60, John Deere H, etc. Back in the early 40's you could get 7X32, 8X32, & 9X32, but no more.

9.5 is todays size was 9. Don't think you will find any thing different. A lot of 32" wheels cut down to a 28" rim because of not being able to find any 32" tires. To put a 28" on it would be a 12.4 to equal the height of that 32"

Thank you for your answers.i guess I will have to go with 9.5 or fix my 28 inch rims. Now which tires to buy. Doesn't seem to be to many available in.

Don't ya hate it when ya Google something and find your old thread ya forgot you posted.
I bought some rims long ago. Looks like I'm going to get tires tomorrow. Then my 60 can sit on different tires. 😁
I really need to clear these tractors out but cant figure out which one to start with.

Can you even get 32" tires these days? I went and looked at a Massey Harris 22 probably 15 years ago, and passed on it because it had 32" 7-bolt rims that were rusted out. I ended up passing on it because I could find neither the rims nor 32" tires.

I bought some used mf rims several years ago but can't bring myself to buy new tires. I finally found some used ones that hopefully are in decent shape as it's 7 hour trip.

I don't worry to much about what was standard. if I can't find one to fit I make one. It is not hard to weld and drill holes onto a different rim. I did 2 front assist tires once. Cut 1/2 inch steel round and welded it into a different rim. Planning on doing it with a belarus front assist soon. They have a 22.5 truck tire on the rim and you can't get the rim off with out bending the rim. Time to make new rims.
