Tire size

Front of my farmall 560 has 6.50 x 16 tires I need to replace them but I?m thinking of just going with 8 or 10 play metric size tire does anybody know how to cross it over so I can get something that?s not super tall the front end already looks at the sky I?m wanting more plus because it has a farm hand loader on the front

don't know how that can be.i have a farmall 560 and it sits nice and level with those tires. people put wider tires on with a front end loader. im sure the tire shops can help in the metric department.

IH tractors built after the 560 used 7.5Lx15 tires for the NFE. An 8 ply version of that size tire would be a good tire for your 560 & loader. A different rim, a 6x15 6-bolt rim would be needed, common size in a 6-bolt wheel.

Not sure what you mean about a "metric" tire. Maybe a light truck tire like LT265-75R16? If so, I wouldn't.

Probably the closest to the 6.50x16 in a metric tire would be an LT 225/75R16. Most of these would be a 10 ply.

Rustred what tire size do you have on the rear? I think I have 15.5 x 38.
