I have an oliver super 88,dyn at 65 hp.Currently have 15x38 firestones. Pull in 4500-6000 lb stock classes,2.5-3 mph. I have an opportunity to get a set of 16.9x38 coops. Wondering if I can handle this tire size. Thank's for any input. I pull in second gear.

Do you have tire rules where you pull at? Some places won't allow that size till in the heavier classes. 14-9x38's are a good choice also.

no I don't. Just wondering if I would have enough power for the 16's. had 14's but brand new. Didn't like the new tire set up.

Olivers around here usually quit pulling after 4500-5000 and the Deere's become dominant. The smaller tires might be your friend when you get in the heavier classes.
