Hi again. Got a 19-something Ferguson TO-20. It has been backfiring from the carburetor real bad. Adjusted the timing and it runs a lot better but still has like no power. Had one of my friends who had 70ish years of experience come look at it. Discovered it was only running on 2.5 cylinders. The 2 and 3 cylinders are only fireing every once in a while. They are also fouling plug within 5 mins. Could the manifold be junk? Even my friend was puzzled. He said ask all you smart people lol. What could be causing that? any ideas help. I'm almost to the point where you just pull the head and take a look at all the valves and stuff. Thanks

It may have a blown head gasket between the 2 cylinders and if so that can cause the foul plugs and lack of power
