TO 30 xmission

Are all TO 30's 4 spd. or are some other configurations? TIA, Al.

Not sure what you are looking for here.... But yes from the factory they were all 4 speeds.

There are a few different aftermarket products that were available that would add high and low ranges etc.

Also, there may be production run changes of specific parts....

Are you looking for or at something specific?

Jeff; Thanks for ya timely responce.
I'm looking into an TO s/n: 88479,conv. to 12V,Excl.Tin.,80% rubber,Head lamps,Steering tight,Runs idles smooth,quite.No guages(all are broken),Finish-Ugly, Starter is inop.(only a click).Starts promply w/hand crank.
He's asking 1K, may pull the trigger now that ya say she's an 4 spd.

Al you would be able to get more than that by parting it out, and as long as it starts with the crank that is very good. It is possible the cables need to be taken off and the ends cleaned up then it may start with the gear shift, if the battery is up. Why is it I can't find one with excellent tin? Did you try the hydraulics? Richard

Rich: Yes, the lift works plendid. No leaks/grease and grime aft of the eng.rear main seal area.will pick 'er up next AM.
When the Wx. warms (29^F.here this AM)a little,I'll pull the str. and insp. everything carefully.

You won't be hurting at 1K for that tractor. The starter issue be just be a bound up bendix. Take it off and clean it. It may then work for a while.
