To20 3point lift

Nope, it's working like it's supposed to. The clutch must be engaged for it to work, too. The PTO drive shaft in the trans is what operates the hydraulic pump.

So it will only operate up and down with
the PTO engaged correct? How do I protect
stuff from getting into the shaft that
spinning in the back if I run a plow

Odd, to me an "engaged" clutch means it is transmitting power. When not engaged (or disengaged), it doesn't transmit power. Seems like your manual uses the opposite definition ??

At any rate, on a TO20, both the lift and the PTO will not work with the clutch pedal depressed. I'm sure it will eventually become habit, but I'm still at the stage where I keep wondering why I can't raise the implement while I'm holding the clutch down :)
