to20 conversion 6v to12 v

for those of you who have done this. got a kit from DB electric. has a alternator mounting bracket. slotted holes on one side and normal holes on the other side. which side goes to the engine ???

I would say the normal holes but the bigger question is how does the pulley line up with the fan belt?

he slotted holes attach to engine block, the round holes allow the alternator to be adjusted. Be careful with the slotted holes, use lock washers cause it tends to want to slide off the block. I can't really see why the slotted holes are used because of the possibility of slipping and falling lose.
