John I am sorry to tell you but up here in Gods country this time of year we use what is called a SNOW BLADE. :) LOL

i have not tried my blade yet. my neighbor said that before somebody used a blade and it did not look half as good. i have heard stories about using the landscape rake after a small snow to mix up the rock and snow to make it better to travel on. i wish i would have taken a before and after photo. the road had washboard ruts and potholes from the rain and snow.

I'd like to see a picture of what you used to smooth your driveway out so nice. It did a great job. I wished that those driveway groomers weren't so darn expensive or I'd buy one. I think they'd work pretty nice with an old Ferguson. They just float along the surface and and the second blade does a backfill. They are way too expensive for me though....(maybe if I could get 4 of the neighbors to go in on one?) Check out attachment.
Driveway Groomer.

here is a 6 foot landscape rake. i bought the cheaper red import one. the cheapest i found a 6 footer was 299.99. i went on a no sales tax day so i saved a little. the main square tube already has a slight bend where i may have caught a passing tree trunk. i will fix that by adding angle iron over the weak part where it bent.https://www.ruralking.com/Store/detail.aspx?ID=16665
