TO30 front axle support

The front axle support on my TO30 has some major flaking rust in the "bowl area" due to years of neglect and not cleaning the drain hole. Nothing is completely thru but probably half of the metal is gone in spots. I'm inclined to replace the support rather than chance loosing the axle, radiator, etc. if it breaks or is this something that can be watched. Thanks, MJD

Better to replace it and wonder if you had to than not replace it an wish you had. I think your "I'm inclined....." is giving you good advice.
