i have a new manifold to put on a to 30 the second bolt from the rear of tractor the nut want go on seems like it is to big this is the second manifold i have tried could the stud be bent or what anyone know

trying to understand--are you saying that the nuts that fit all others are too small for this one stud? also the hole in the manifold is too small @ this location? maybe someone drilled out a broken stud & tapped out to one size larger? should be an easy fix with a drilled out hole & right nut-OR-they make ''stepped studs-if you can't go that way---

no all of the nuts and studs are the same all of the nuts go on except that second nut this is the second manifold i have tried the first one i returned this is the same manifold i ordered the second time as the one that i sent back but the same problem that second nut want go on like it is hittin the manifold and you cant get it started on

yes, i can see that location being a little tight-i have a genuine manifold & looks like it would take a thinwall 9/16 socket--must be your after-market parts cast a little thicker in that spot-die grinder to make room? ck 0n ferg. board- maybe someone's been there--good luck--

Yes on both. Common wrenches and sockets won't fit all the manifild nuts, not easily. Go to the Harry ferguson forum on the left of the grey bar above.
