TO35 Dashlight?

I have noticed that the dash on my 35 is near impossible to see in the dark, did they have a light? Or was it backlit gauges? I would like to find a near original solution, if possible

Thanks,

Mr. Ferguson

I was trying to find a picture, but no luck...

I have a 1960 model deluxe, it had a 90* bent chrome tube with an instrument lamp that shined on the tach.

The socket was corroded badly, so I soldered in a 158 wedge base instrument lamp, shrink tubed it for insulation. Works well.

I saw no provision for back lighting.

The 90 bend tube Steve said was a factory light for the dash. I've never seen a repo. I have a F40 an MF 65 that has this light. They don't work but are still on tractor. I did see a company that had the little bulb but it was $60. I don't work at night so I didn't buy one. LOL

I replaced all the gauges in my 1959 TO - 35 and the new ones all had lights in them accept the tractormeter . The old ones never had any lighting .
