How Critical Is the float setting?
I rebuilt the carb and set the float for a carter at 11/64 I believe that 1/4 is correct
it slobers now is that the reason?
thanks ALL !

if I am off maybe a 1/64th will that make a difference ?
I guess I am asking how critical this is
thanks for your response

The 1/4 or 16/64 is measured with the carb turned upside down. 11/64 being less than 16/64 would mean that the float takes more travel to reach cutoff, hench more gas which would cause flooding. At least that's the way i see it and i've been wrong before.
