Yes!

And while you are at it please make our GAS great again too? (get the @#$%^ ethanol out of it...)

easy now BOB,,. I, will 2nd the gas can ,,. and from my gawd awful experience with a hibernating gasser yesterday , I really should join your wagon ,.. bur I and most farmers realize that ethanol competition keeps the oil companies at bay from asking way too much for their product,,. help the bottomline of corn production and improves the quality of air with a clean burn ,.. I must say it would be nice to be able to buy and have readily available good quality y pre ethanol type of real gasoline , to wake these sleeping gassers up..

How many of these problems (and other similar enviro.) regs. are a result of companies trying to keep their share of the Calif. market and not a result of an actual Federal Law? Maybe we don't need nnalert to do anything. Maybe California needs to .......
??

Agree! Just wish I could still buy ethanol- free gas without having to drive 30 miles to find it, then get charged dollar more a gallon.

I agree on the gas cans. It is virtually impossible to get gas out of one without spilling it all over. I think the idea was to prevent a flame from coming back into the can but it is much more dangerous to me to spill gas all over. What about the guy who runs out of gas on the highway and has to stand with his rear out in traffic trying to get gas out of one. It is another example of someone writing regulations who has no idea of the side effects of what they are doing. I just watch the auctions and buy cans from pre safety times.

Can still buy the old style with no stupid safety spout AND a vent at Walmart here. I hated the ones without vents, have never tried to use the ones with the 'self spilling' spout.

I agree too. The educated idiots that designed those things probably never used one.
I agree on getting rid of the ethanol too. It has ruined several of my carburetors and I could be getting 3 more miles per gallon.

I put a vent on my gas containers (they aren't cans anymore) By drilling a hole on the end opposite of the spout (of course) and pulling a tubeless tire valve stem through. Take out the stem and use the cap. If you get the hole right, no leaks. Works great.
