I worked at one nut for a half hour yesterday. No rust, just no way to get enough wrench on it but I finally figured it out.
 
I know the feeling.

I was once torqueing the connecting rod cap bolts on a 350 Chevy engine on an engine stand. They were suppose to be torqued to 35 ft/lbs. One of them snapped at 30.

Needless to say, I started all over with all new bolts.
 
My patients does not last that long after about 15 minutes out comes the torch. It can't be stuck if it's a liquid!
