I want to restore some of my sons tonka toys that he had 29 years ago. cant seem to find the correct yellow and black paint anybody have any thoughts on where to go. looking forward to your suggrstions. thanks bob.

If you aren't going to try to sell them to a collector,i'd say to use a spray can yellow paint.I did some a few years ago, and just used bright yellow for the color. I also had two crane trucks to redo, and used the same yellow color. They look nice, and the kids liked them.

Valspar makes a Tractor and Implement paint color called "Transport Yellow" that is pretty darn close to that Tonka yellow. You can buy it at Tractor Supply stores.
