After getting the wiring done on the 800, which turned into replacing the battery box, starter, fuel tank and exaust, I just couldn't help but fire it up and take it around the property for a little bit. Still don't have the heat shield in yet so i couldn't put the cowling back on. Didn't matter. The wife came running out and jumped on board and was real happy. She's been around this 800 all her life. Glad I didn't burn it up. Just wanted to say thanks to john n la, sounder and the rest of you fella's for your experience.
