Hello Gene Stevens,
You are right, it is a tool that is used in PLACE of a feeler gauge.
The .035 is the result from A to B.on the adjusting screw.
Why not just use a feeler gauge?
What are you adjusting to .035?
Guido.

I have and seen some that have increments all the way to .060. The are faster than a feeler gauge...I don't think they may be as accurate.

Hello Gene Stevens,
It is not a spark plug gauge.
The .035 is achieved when the adjusting screw is turned from point A to point B on the gauge.
The tool is as flat as a flat washer.
Here is a picture of a spark plug gauge. It has ramps on both sides for thickness/gapping.
So what do you adjust with this tool?
Guido.

I"d say it"s a timing gauge for a small flywheel. In this case the spark plug or most likely the points are set to .035 and the wheel is timed according to the points A-B for open and close or TDC of the piston...... or it"s a really small frisbee.

Hello fepo69,
It is not a timing device, good guess though.

Guido.

Hello Davy Fireball,
No, it is for an elephant, it may hurt a rhino.
Guido.
