Tools with no purpose/use...

Harbor Freight sometimes is the butt of jokes about silly/useless tools.

Sears is good at that sort of thing, as well.

Here's my collection of Sears stuff that doesn't get used much...

I have a Black & Decker battery operated adjustable end wrench given to me by my son many years ago. Still haven't stopped laughing at it every time I pick it up to use.

I bought a pair of pliers long ago. Self-adjusting. Only thing is, they only work if held horizontal. If you don't, the grab pawl won't engage.

I have a battery operated tape measure. Push a button, tape goes out, push a button, tape comes in.

gregww, the battery sounds like a good idea. Mine is the old type with a power cord. I know that sounds inconvenient but it replaced the motorized one with a Briggs and Stratton engine that I had before.

I have a new one now. Solar powered. Nice, but it weighs 12 lbs. and I can only use it on the south side of the house

I have one of those T-handles and use it periodically as a speed wrench. One thing that makes it so useful is that it spins effortlessly.

My daughter gave me one a long time ago. It's laying at the bottom of the tool box. Only good thing about it was the 9v battery. Same with the B&D multi wrench, with the ball ends that have all the sizes.

My wife was really proud of her find when she gave me one a few years back. It hangs in my little shop in the basement with a dead battery. I use it once in a while by adjusting it manually.

I bought a set of muffler bearings last week, now I find out I need a special muffler bearing tool to install them.

even worse, a special funnel is required for blinker fluid. Has anyone successfully replaced blinker fluid without the special funnel
