Torque specs

125 ft/lbs on the head nuts, 100 ft/lbs on the rods. The engines are very similar in size to the Model A so that's what I've always used as a reference. The owners manual said "snug without binding" on the rods and "tighten evenly" on the head. Once you get the rods close to being torqued, rotate the crank and check to make sure they aren't binding. I do the head nuts in 25 lb. increments, working from the center out.
