touch controls not working on a super c

Hi everyone! Finally got a 1951 farmall super c running that i bought two years ago. Nice original straight low hour tractor.got everything working on it except the hydraulic touch controls the fluild was low so I added so hytran.moved the levers back and forth about two dozen times and no movement at all. There seem to be a load on the engine when the levers are pushed up all the way but not too much. What else should I'd be looking for or checking?? I have another hydraulic pump to swap out if needed but don't want to jump to that just yet. I pulled the screen out and it was cleaned. Any advice or help is kindly appreciated! Thanks Jim p.s this tractor brings my farmall collection up to 13 running driving tractors. Lol I'm sick in the head with old farmalls.

remove the plug and try again point the front of the tractor down hill as much as you can sometimesit takes a while to prime the pump and remove the air from the system.

there is a nother screen on the bottom r. hand heart shaped cover on block by battery quarter in pipe plug ,,screen is under pipe plug.uses st. screw driver to remove.....dewy
