I have a 7-24 Disc plow looking for a picture of the hydralic set up ,My plow hasn't got the resovor part it has been removed ,Wondering if there is a picture to go about replacing it

Hello TGT, welcome to YT! No offense, but I have a feeling that you may not be to familiar with implement nomenclature. I believe the “hydraulic reservoir” your looking for is actually called a “hydraulic cylinder” If it is a wheeled machine the cylinder would probably raise or lower the main frame to either engage in the earth or raise for transport. It could also be for adjusting the angles of the disk gangs. I could not find a photo of the 7-24 model online so I might be way off base. A popular common sized implement cylinder in the 60s and 70s was an 8” stroke with either a 3 1/2” or 4” bore. Usually connected to the operating mechanism of the implement with 1” diameter pins 3-4” long. Any of this sound like it might be what you are looking for? Here is a link to an example 3.5 bore x 8” stroke universal implement cylinder. Example hydraulic cylinder
Not saying that is the best buy on one just an example that came up in a search.

Between this picture and the other one you posted on the Implement forum here, I don't see why you are looking for a hydraulic reservoir. It has a cylinder. The cylinder would have one or two hoses depending on if it is single or double acting. Between the two pictures it looks like it is single acting so would only have one hose going to a remote coupler on your tractor. The valve on the tractor controls this system. In this picture it appears the pipe has been pulled from its mountings on the frame, it appears the hose is broken.

What do you have for a tractor you intend to pull this with and is it equipped with remote couplers?

Thanks for the comments, The Disc plow is 3 point linkage was made in conjunction with ferguson for the te20 and 35 tractors
It seems my comments may have been incorrect my apologies, you have a cylinder on it so you/we could hardly say that the “reservoir” is missing as I suggested. I am awaiting the explanation of what you think you need as Jim in reply 5 has inquired.
