While at times it may have been a little unsafe to let youngsters do some of the farm work/logging work it provided a generation of people that knew how to work, unlike today where we have a generation of young people that don't know anything other than and are happy to safely sit on the couch and play video games...at the age they should be in the workforce and using the experience to raise the next generation.

How much were the rims and tires and any other mechanical stuff needed?
Tires and rims were duals off my Deere 4010--I made the adapters--Back then Deere green at the local dealer was 20 bucks a gallon and yellow was 6 bucks a quart--decals were cheap--What else??

Big Tee, been thinking about my post and I must tell you the truth. I was just jealous. Jealous of the fact that you not only have the money to do that but also jealous that you have the talent and the machinery to accomplish it.
