Tractor Canvas Covers

Trying to locate a cover that will drape over an entire 8N including tires, not just the body, that will fit properly and is weather resistant. All I've seen available just snugly cover the body only. Probably could use a small compact-car cover of similar dimensions but would rather purchase a cover made specifically for the tractor itself. I also have an attached mower/cutter and ideally would prefer a custom-cover that also covers that apparatus. Does anyone know where I can order/purchase such a cover? Thanks!

I hear ya'....there is a guy on eBay selling body-fitted covers (who is likely known to readers of this forum). He seems to 'tailor' covers to fit so I emailed him about customizing one but have yet to hear back. If I do I will post his response here. Thanks for writing.

Go to a Tarp Shop where they make Tarps for Big Trucks and Boats and such. I am sure they would fix you up. I don't know what it would cost. Shouldn't be to bad. If you find out, Let us know.

It may be easier and cheaper to buy one of those "portable garage" tent units from Costco. That has the advantage of having some spare room endwise to keep implements out of the rain, and you can do minor maintenance "indoors."

Jim, I posed the same question to him several months ago and he said no-go.

Recently pinged him again and like you, have not gotten a response.

Am using a small car cover but would rather have something that fits a little better.

I realize it's a niche market - But there seems to be enough interest to warrant production.

Ive been thinking about getting some chain link style fence pipe and a bender and in farm show magazine there is a guy who sells used billboard signs which are heavy duty weather proof tarps and making ahoop building.

Jock (OR), has the right Idea!!! I use one of those, and found that I wouldn't be without one. Comes in dang handy for storage and if ya get a 10W X 20L, there is more than ample room for the "N" AND impliment attached!!!
I just bought another one for the 4 wheeler and lawn chairs/tables to go in, during the winter. I found this last one at a yard sale, for $20.00. Only has the roof, but am planning on heavy duty tarps to close in the sides, and I have the zipper doors from the first one, that are not being used, to close up the ends!!!
First one I bought, was from COSTCO!

My snowplow, was on Hermie the 2N when that pic. was taken!! Still room for a FEL to get under it, if ya needed!!!

Thanks to all who responded to my original question - they are all good ideas and decent alternatives to just the body-wrapped cover being sold on eBay. I greatly appreciate your suggestions. Thanks again, Jim

Its been known for years that canvas covers trap ground moisture underneath, Ignition points foul up.

I probably should have said, "cover", rather than canvas cover, which I meant in a generic sense. Yep, you"re right, canvas does have its drawbacks as you pointed out. Thanks for replying.
