that's what I use, wife's old soft bed sheets.

Plastic/vinyl covers tend to sweat,causeing rust.They can also damage paint.Go to Salvation Army/Goodwill etc and buy some used sheets for a dollar or so each.

I"ve used old bed sheets as well. Wife and I went to a fabric shop and got a deal on fabric on sale and even got the color for my CASE.

Buy a cheap large car cover and cut a hole for the muffler to go through.
