I have gotten build cards from JI Case and know where to do that, so I suppose Deere has a source for hat as well? If so, can someone point me in that direction?

I'm not a Deere guy. I think you need to contact the two cylinder club for that info.

That information is held in the John Deere Archives in what are called Serial Number Registers. Two-Cylinder has an exclusive arrangement with Deere for access to that information. Years ago, data for several series of tractors was transcribed into an electronic database and is held by Two-Cylinder so those models can be quickly researched in-house. Other models require a trip to the Archives and a manual search by Two-Cylinder. Here's a link with all the information to obtain such research information. Scroll down that page to see everything.
