This is my first post on Yesterday's Tractors so here it goes. I just acquired a Ford tractor and wanted to find out what it was. I got the numbers from under the hood and have been looking for about a week. I would like to verify what I've found. The numbers are:
Tractor #C471224, Model K5011F, Unit 5F23B, Hyd Lift 5 E or F 22A, Trans 4E13B, Rear Axle 5C14B, Hyd Pump 5D19B. From this forum it looks like it's a 1975 3550. It was built in May 23 1975 on the day shift. It is an industrial tractor, diesel engine, no PTO, 4/4 power reversing. It has sat for 20 years. Hasn't been started, etc. After I get the wasp's out of it I'll get closer to do some work. I had a 1975 Ford 4500 many years ago and really lover that tractor.
