Tractor Jack

I've had a tractor jack for about ten years, and never needed it until today. I must say, it's pretty impressive in its simplicity.

Gotta love the simple but brilliant concept. The front lift part of the jack would give me second thoughts as the little D hoop and a single chain works, but doesn't look to beefy. Your user name is fitting for your post also lol.

I'm a bit hesitant to try the front piece...it does seem a bit flimsy.
BTW, my username relates to my former occupation for a race team.

No need to worry I have used mine many times at tractor and engine meets the Jack realy draws a lot of attention.

Agree. I have one and have used it for brake work, etc. The whole 9,2,8N line is amazing for it's simplicuty.

Kirk I have changed a million tars : ( I put two lug studs horizontal it can be two at the top are at the bottom if you have them like that the rest of the lugs will always align...

If you try to align them with one hole the rest can still be way out...

Nice work, looks great. You are wise to beef up the design some. Dad bought one for our new 9N to flip the wheels for cultivating then back to plowing. Had to work on sandy loam soil with loaded tires. It had
a tendency to sink some and then bend. After a few usages it was relegated to spend the rest of it's days hanging on the machine shed wall. Sometime in the 1990's the shed caved in, when I went to pull it out
I found it to be rusted beyond any reasonable repair. Just a little tougher construction and it would have made it.
