Tractor paint. (off topic sort of)

I am replacing and painting some MDF baseboards in my dining room/kitchen. I thought about trying to paint then with my air compressor spray gun and TSC white implement paint with hardener added. Will this paint work with wood? Really wanting something I can spray and that will last. Often the baseboards are hit with vacuum, etc....

Dunno about tractor paint.
What I have done is use my spray gun to paint the 6 panel doors and all the shelving in the pantry with ordinary interior latex. I had to thin the paint WAY down to get it to go through the gun.
But it worked fantastic.
I picked a warm summer day and taped everything off that I didn't want painted.
It took a bit of doing to get in the back and in the corners, underneath, etc trailing the air hose but it was not too bad. It dries very fast and I kept respraying it over and over.
The doors I took out in the sun and set them flat on saw horses.
In the sun I could start on one end and by the time I reached the other end it was dry enough to start over.
I shot 6 or 8 coats and it looks great.
5 years later it's holding up fine - no chips, cracks or peeling.
And zero drips, runs or brush strokes which is a plus on the panel doors.
Including the time taping off it took 1/4th of the time that brush painting would have - especially on the shelves.
I did brush paint the wood sills and trim on a deer blind we built last fall.
Just to keep them from rotting.
Used Valspar tractor Ford Gray- no hardner. It's what I had on hand.
It is shinier than I would want on the trim in a house.
Has only been about 4 months now so who kniws how long it will last on wood.

I would suggest you go to home depot or lowes and look for cabinet paint, then buy a good paint brush. This paint spreads and levels and looks like or no different than sprayed. A whole lot faster, less messier than spraying. KISS! keep it simple s.....
