tractor pull insurance needed?

we have put on a pull in our town for 3 years now without event insurance and now they want us to pay 500.00 a day per pull for tis insurance. any one have a idea on this? we have cancelled all pulls for this year cause of this.

What kinds of pulls are you having antique, modifed, pro stock ? If you are a club,and pulling like Div.1,2, and 3, take a look at the E.D.G.E. & T.A. website. Are there any civic clubs, who have insurance, that could co=sponsor your pulls. County fairs ussally have a blanket insurance policy that may cover the pull if held in conjuction with the fair. Just a couple of ideas that my help.
