Finally found time to split my 41 9N front mount to replace the cracked rear end housing.
I used the engine hoist and a 3" rachet strap to remove the loaded rear tires. and to pull the axel trumpets.
the hardest part was pulling the pinon gear from the damaged rear housing. I had to modify the puller some with extenion bolts and clamped behind the two fine thread hex nuts on the spline shaft but with patiance it finnally came out. Thanks Hobo for the free advice.
I got some seat time in before I head back to Las Cruces new mexico for another 2 months.
