I don't know about any beet juice besides Rim Guard, but not all tire shops are Rim Guard dealers. I thought about using it once, but between price and travel to an authorized dealer it was not worth it. I can say now but at the time I believe Rim Guard required a dealer to have a large storage (like 1000 gallon plus tank), and some other things, they couldn't just buy a couple barrels of it. There are some other less corrosive options, I don't remember the names of. I have stayed with Calcium and pay attention to any wetness that shows up, which is not very often.

Thank you, my wording was unclear, I know Rim Guard is non-corrosive. I edited my post to include calcium, as that is what I was referring to when I said "There are some other less corrosive options".

Yes, most shops that do tractor tires do fluids for them. The tire shop I use (they have several locations) does fluids, but not Rim Guard. I asked and they said it was not worth it for the expense required to be a Rim Guard dealer. They have another fluid they use that is less corrosive than calcium, if a customer wants other than calcium.

You may be lucky and have a number of dealers around you that handle Rim Guard. Have you actually looked for and found a Rim Guard dealer? I looked into Rim Guard for some tires a few years ago and at the time there were only 4 dealers in the state of Maine, if I remember right. And I believe it was either a guy at Rim-Guard, or the dealer I talked to, that told me they prefer dealers to set up with 1000-gallon storage tank to take bulk deliveries and have their pumps and equipment. They may have changed those requirements some but if you go to the Rim Guard site they want email, name, zip code sent to them to find the nearest dealer, which they will email to you, they don't have an open list of dealers or an open use dealer locator. Their website says they have 1200 authorized Rim Guard dealers across 48 states and 7 provinces. My point is your statement, "Any tire shop that does tractor tires and fluids in the tires should have it", is not correct based on my research.

While choices come down to $$$. In an ideal world the tires would radial tubeless . With cast iron weights .

However the world is rarely ideal .

Methanol is a reactive alcohol not good with rubber or plastics. Ethanol is better and far less likely to expand/deteriorate rubber compounds. from the internet: Methanol can cause elastomer and rubber compound matrices to swell

We have used methanal in Geo Thermo heating systems for years and no problems with seals or plastics in the system leaking. You only use like 25% methanol and 75% water so it is not like it is pure methanol. It cost around $3.50 a gallon here.

Where do you get beet juice and how much is it

Most any of the larger tire shops out here carry it. It's about $7 to the gallon. If they come to you to do it they charge a heck of a fee on top of it.

Don't know the cost.
If I wanted to blend water with washer fluid, I would have the tire store
fill the tire half full and I would fill the other half with water.
