The stem on that tube is the right stem for the tube, that style stem was often used in light truck tires, especially duals. You should have gotten a tube for an implement tire with a TR15 stem, which fits a 5/8 hole common in tractor and implement rims.

I only get tubes at TSC as a last resort. I suggest you go to a tire shop that does truck and ag tires and get a radial tube that will fit. Radial tubes stand up much better than bias tubes now. It will likely have a TR13 stem for a 1/2" hole and they should have the plastic stem bushing that you use on the TR13 stem in a 5/8" hole.

A GR/KR-16 should fit a 6.00-16, and those can be found with either the TR13 or TR 15 stem.

Your tube will work just fine, I have the same on some tractor fronts, I have never had any issues with anything getting caught, they will nicely bend somewhat if necessary.

Thanks for that bit of advice, I was always WONDERING what stem am I supposed to be getting. Now I know, but, will I remember next time I need a tube. lol gobble

For what its worth you can bend that stem to get it out of the way. There was tools for it, but one word CARFULL!

Implement tubes have a bit of a fatter stem and of course shorter and they fill in the rim valve stem hole better. I've gotten those tubes with the long stems as well and haven't had problems with hitting something with them but they sure don't look right. I've been ordering implement tubes from Miller tire. I don't have to leave my house to get them.

Yeah it definitely look's funny.next time I will know to.just order them online.TSC is only place in my area.im surprised they even put one of those in this area.

Another thing I have noticed about inner tubes at TSC - seems like every so often one I put in just a few days ago has gone flat and won't stay up. It did when I installed it. I have tubes in all my tires so I've done a fair number and I know they can get pinched but everyone I have seen go flat didn't have the leak where I thought it could have been pinched. I can't say the ones I've ordered from Miller are any better as I haven't done many and maybe they all come from the same place but so far I haven't had an issue with one. I'm just chalking up the experience with what we have to work with these days for replacement stuff.

Also on the valve stem hole in the rim there is a plastic bushing if the the hole is damage or two big. It protects the valve stem.

I had to install one of those on my 841 several years back, thankfully that long valve stem hasn't caught on something and been ripped off yet, although it probably will now that I have mentioned it. Good luck with yours.
