I have a Farmall A #FAA-115194 the service manual I recieved with it states it"s a "47" but was told by so called "Farmall guru" that by the ser.# it"s a 1945. What I"ve found it"s a 47 with a low ser. #.

Its a 1945 by the serial number.

What makes you think it is newer?

How could you have a 47 with an early serial number. Is there something that seriously makes you believe this? Serial numbers don't lie unless they've been changed. If you believe that is the case check out casting date codes, those can't be changed.
