trading 1952 8n tractor

I would like to do some trading ,I have a 1952 8n ford tractor
rebuilt motor , looks good, new steering box, runs
good.
I would love to find and trade on a Massey 135 .
don't mind if I have to work on it.
it would have to be within this area . just putting
it out.

Probably a lot of other guys would like to make that trade also.
MF135 is known to be close to the top of the top of the heap of all brands of small utilities.
37 pto hp, gas or diesel, live hyds, live pto possible power steering, built 64-75, would eat a Jubilee's lunch and also a Ford 600.
But don't give up on the Fords just yet.
A Ford 3000 is at the very top of the heap also.
Same HP, same options, same size, same reliability as the 135 with maybe a bit better parts availability, easier to find one, easier to work on and a few $ cheaper. Totally bulletproof machines.
Another advantage to the 3000 to an N owner is a 3000 would be very familiar to you.
Think of one as an N to the Nth degree.
Get your heart set to part with your little N and start looking for a better tractor. Use Searchtempest.com to search craiglslist for however many miles you want to travel.
Don't hesitate to run a possible buy by the fellows over on the Ford board. They'll help you find a good one or at least keep you from making a mistake.
It is a very good time to be buying a tractor as the prices are depressed. But you will also take a beating on your N when you sell so it all evens out.
Good luck
