Trailer decking

Rot and slip resistant trailer decking. Not cheap but it should last a lifetime.

Leaving in about 45 minutes to go get new decking for my 20 foot trailer.
Younger friend is giving me 2 inch white oak that he had sawed over a year ago.
Has been drying in a barn stacked and ricked.
Tornado hit their farm and took out a bunch of them.
He had a mill come in and saw them up.
This floor may outlast me.

I spent nine years working in a factory that made those grating panels.

Welding up those serrated panels kept you on your toes. Occasionally a cross rod would not have enough contact points as it was pressed onto the serrated bars. When the resistance welder poured the juice to the weld sometimes it looked like fireworks. You punched the emergency stop button as you ran from the firestorm.

It was a good machine to operate in the Winter as it produced a lot of heat. Midnight shift was best in the Summers though.

(quoted from post at 10:20:12 01/13/23) Might last a lifetime, but leaves you with about 1500lbs of payload capacity on a 7 ton trailer, LOL.

Maybe it is aluminum bar grating.

I would use extruded aluminum planks used for bleachers.
