Trailer flats

Nearly everything that has a Vevor name on it is junk. They are like the Temu of TikTok.

Know a guy who "homesteads" and makes TikToks that is sponsored by Vevor. They send him all kinds of garbage to rate.. And of course it all gets high ratings from him. "As long as they send a check." They get a good rating.
My experience with Vevor is just the opposite. I've been very happy with everything I bought from them; guide rollers for my boat, mag drill, 55 gallon drum roller, diesel fuel pump, creeper, and others. When I order on line, Vevor is my go to brand if they have what I want. Never had a disappointment.

A couple days going to a mowing job, a guy pulls up and points to my trailer, I knew it was probably a flat tire. I was able to pull off about 1/2 mile down the road. The tire was almost gone by the time I got stopped. I had to unload my tractor to jack up the trailer. Just what I wanted to do alongside the road. A few years ago I was going down the freeway again someone pointing to my trailer. Anonther flat ruined tire. Another time I got to my mowing job no tire. Hope it didn't it someone. I guess there isn't any way to tell if a trailer tire is going flat. I 'm sure some of you have the same problems. Stan

Stan,
If you take the time to check the pressure in all trailer tires just before you leave home every time I think you'll have a lot less flats and blow-outs. Wouldn't hurt to check the truck tires too.

I have mirrors and use them often but no help for inside trailer duals. Can't imagine not knowing you'd blown a tire on single tire trailer axles.

I to have a few Vevor tools and have been very happy with them. May be not the quality of snap on but they work as intended.

Here's a closely guarded secret to reducing trailer blow-out by 75%. Use truck tires. If you are a tightwad like me,just buy used ones that are young. First class tire shops don't like selling used tires, many actually forbid it. I have two high volume dealers near me that service fleet accounts. I tell the shop foreman what size, how many and load rating I need. They set them aside and call me. I don't ask them to mount them but I ask what they want to share, tocos , burgers ,hot wings, drinks or sweets. Similar arrangement at a scrap metal recycler where I get some unbelievable deals. For 2x scrap price plus 12 Coors,12 Dr, Pepper,12 Orange soda all iced down, I got 1k pounds of steel plate and 200 pounds of aluminum diamond plate.

Likewise with my experience with Vevor. I've ordered more food equipment than tools, but nothing has given me cause for complaint, actually, if anything, I've gotten more than expected. But this comes with a caveat, I don't expect super high quality, if I need that I buy it. But for minimal use items, I have no problem with them. I recently got a portable bandsaw on a stand, for the amount of use that will get, I doubt if I will need the spare blade that came with it, but it does what I need it for and it for that it doesn't make sense to spend twice as much for a Milwaukee to gather dust under the bench
