Trailer Plug Mounting Location

I thought this electrical plug mounted onto one of the differential studs but the bolt hole pattern doesn't match. Was it mounted with just one fastener?

Factory on a Ferguson was on the tail light I think, been a long time since I’ve ran one

Here is what our 641 looks like. You can barely see how the trailer plug is mounted…
Thank you! That is how I remember it when my grandpa had the tractor. I'll never use it, probably will not wire it up but I'm just trying to put everything back as it was. Thanks again.

I too really have no intention of ever using it. But the whole rear wiring harness was so butchered and patched, I just replaced the whole thing so the rear lights all worked again. There are some great harness options available. I protected the new harness with some additional plastic loom covering and tied it up with a few additional clamps and zip ties.

\It is not complete. Still have to install and wire up the lights, wet sand out the orange peel and maybe respray, apply the graphics, sand and paint the seat. This has been an ongoing project for well over twenty years. My Grandpa farmed with the tractor for many years and I spent many weekends with him on it. It was very well worn, dented, bent, etc. When he passed away my Grandma gave it to me and $300 to help "fix it up". It is far from perfect but the mechanicals are very good. Every nut and bolt was touched, completely rebuilt engine, hydraulics, all bearings, bushings are new and, much to my delight, everything works as it should. 1957 Ford 641 Workmaster.

That seat no longer cuts the mustered. Beautiful.

Thanks! Yeah that seat will have to go. I want to build a double wide seat so I can safely give grandkids a ride. I've seen them on the web but I believe I can make one myself. I want it to look period correct and it will have to have some struts running down to the differential center. I'll post more pictures once the tractor has it's lights and graphics in place.
