Hello all,
I don't know if this is an issue that may become a problem. I've noticed that, sometimes, when I shift gears I need to release/depress the clutch or it won't get into the new gear. Usually I notice this going from reverse to a forward gear (because I'm plowing with a back blade). Any other details may be spotty, being I'm only on it once in a big snow while.
I replaced the tranny/hyd fluid in November with 80/90 from TSC. What was in there previously seemed ok (was in there when I bought it). It otherwise runs fine. I never took notice of the issue before my constant forward/reverse plowing routine. When it was warmer I was probably going one direction, stopping, messing with the lift or something else, then going back into gear again. Is it simply that you HAVE to go into neutral, cycle the clutch and then go into your new gear?! Doesn't make sense, but who knows with these old machines.....
Thanks.
