Trans slipping 2950

Have JD2950 that when it gets hot & under load or pulling hill seems like transmission slips. Quits pulling. Especially when using what I call "rabbit gear". Does fine with moderate use and/or load.
Thinking clutch maybe.
Any help appreciated.

You asked about this back around the first of August and got some feedback.

You did not tell which transmission your 2950 has. 16 speed partial power shift or the 12 speed partially synchronized?

Do you have the technical manual for it, and have you done the trouble shooting and diagnostics in the manual, for the transmission you have?

Your use of rabbit gear sounds as if your tractor has hyd hi-lo. If that's correct I'll suggest to check trans pressure in high speed.
