Transmission compatibility

Hello,
About a month ago I was recently given an NAA "parts" / basket case tractor. I manage to sort out the problems with the engine which turned out to be an assortment of issues being timing, carburetor, water pump, radiator, plugs, wires - the usual suspects.

The problem that I have now is locating a transmission. The transmission was cannibalized for another tractor before I was gifted this machine and what is left in its place is an empty transmission shell that also has a chunk missing from the bottom.

I was told that this particular machine had a non live PTO, and I have on hand a known working good transmission from a Ford 601 Workmaster with a non-live PTO. I am not familiar with the Jubilee/NAA series and was wondering if there is compatiblity between the the before mentioned and the 601 series. The last thing I want to do is spend time swapping things around only to find out things do not match up.

Edit: Forgot to mention that also included in this deal was a Everett transmission, and appears to be fully intact on the NAA. What is the compatibility with the 601 series transmission? Another wrench in the works so to speak...

Thanks...

For an Everett transmission you will need the 4 speed transmission
The 601 came with both 4 speed and 5 speed
There is a change over from course/fine transmission output shaft splines
Don't have my manual in front of me to give the serial number change over
You will need the older spline transmission

Don't know or care what you paid for this tractor but that Everett transmission is probably worth more than the whole tractor without it.

Not familiar with the Everett transmission, what does it do, speed it up or slow it down? As far the the course/ fine spline transmission splines, could he just change pilot bearing and clutch plate or is more involved?

A Everett lowers the speed of the tractor while allowing the pto speed to stay up because the Everett goes on the back of the transmission.
The Sherman (more common ) goes on the front of the transmission so it changes the speed of the tractor and pto.
The spline difference on the early and later transmission in on the output shaft not the input shaft so it has nothing to do with the clutch.
